Mobile Compliance Check: Passcode Set on Android

In order to ensure the security of your company data, your company can configure Security Compliance Checks that your device must pass to use Venn.

If your company has enabled the Passcode set on Android security compliance check, your Android mobile device must have a login passcode set. This compliance check is used to ensure that if someone physically gains access to your mobile device they cannot get into your device without your passcode.

You can see if your device passed this check by checking your Device Policy.

  • If your mobile device passes this check, Passcode set on Android will have a green check next to it.
  • If your mobile device fails this check, Passcode set on Android will have an orange exclamation point next to it.

If you failed this security check:

  1. Close the Workplace app.
  2. Follow the instructions below to attempt to fix the issue.
  3. Restart your mobile device.
  4. Open the Workplace app and wait for the compliance checks to finish processing.
  5. If the check fails again, contact your IT department.
