Installing a Work-Managed Browser on Mobile

Venn provides access to all your work emails, contacts, calendars, files, and websites — all within a dynamic and secure perimeter that helps you protect sensitive company and customer information.

To access your work-related websites on your mobile device, you will need to enroll your device into Venn's MDM solution.  Once your device is enrolled, you can download and install native web browser that has been approved for work use.

Install a Work-Managed Browser on Android

  1. Complete the enrollment process and open Venn (Workplace) for Android in the Work Profile.
  2. Tap the Apps tab.
  3. Locate and tap the desired browser in the app list.
    You will be redirected to the Google Play Store in the Work Profile.
  4. Tap Install or Enable to download and install the browser application.

  5. A work-managed browser has been installed and is ready for use in the Work Profile.
  6. It is recommended to enable password autofill for the Work Profile

Install a Work-Managed Browser on iOS/iPadOS

  1. Complete the enrollment process.
  2. If the desired browser is installed on the device, please delete it before proceeding.
  3. Open Venn (Workplace) for iOS.
  4. Tap the Apps tab.
  5. Locate and tap the desired browser in the app list.
  6. Tap Install in the slide up modal.
  7. You will be prompted to install the browser application.  Tap Install when the prompt appears.

  8. A work-managed browser has been installed and is ready for use.
  9. It is recommended to add Workplace to the password autofill settings of iOS.
