Install Venn's RMM Agent (Managed Customers)

In order to enable the Venn team to provide managed support, some users will be asked to download a RMM agent software called VSA X on their computers. The RMM agent allows Venn's support team to remotely protect and support your system.

You need Administrator access on your computer to complete this installation.

Windows Installation Steps

To install Venn's RMM Agent on your Windows PC:

  1. Click the RMM Agent download link provided by your company. The link will directly download the RMM Agent installer. 
  2. Go to your Downloads folder and double-click to open the .exe installer file.
  3. Click Next on the Welcome screen that appears.
  4. Accept the License Agreement and click Next.

  5. On the Select Installation Folder screen: 

    1. Make no changes to the default Folder field.
    2. Select Everyone.
    3. Click Next.

  6. Click Next to begin installation.
  7. Click Yes when prompted to allow the app to make changes to your device.

  8. Click OK in the VSA Manager screen.

  9. Click Close to complete the installation.

Once you complete these steps, the RMM agent will be installed and running on your PC. It will operate automatically in the background, keeping your device protected and supported without further action.

Mac Installation Steps

To install Venn's RMM Agent on your Mac:

  1. Click the RMM Agent download link provided by your company. The link will directly download the RMM Agent installer. 
  2. Click the Finder icon in the Dock, go to Downloads, and double-click to open the .pkg installer file.

  3. Click Continue on the Welcome screen that appears.

  4. Review the License Agreement, click Continue, and then click Agree in the confirmation popup.

  5. Make no changes to the standard install location and click Install.

  6. If a password is required to install software on your device, a password dialog will appear. If prompted, enter your device password.
    • Input your Mac password, not your Venn password.
  7. When installation has completed, click Close.

Once you complete these steps, the RMM agent will be installed and running on your Mac. It will operate automatically in the background, keeping your device protected and supported without further action.
