View Connectivity Status

On the Connectivity Status page, Venn continuously monitors the health of your internet connection, including your local device network (outside of Blue Border) and your Private Company Gateway connection (inside Blue Border).

To navigate to the Connectivity Status page, click Connectivity status in the Workplace app.

Interpret Connectivity Status

On the Connectivity Status page, you will see:

  • Local Device Network: Real-time connectivity status for your internet connection outside of Blue Border
  • Private Company Gateway: Real-time connectivity status for your internet connection inside Blue Border

For each, you will see values for the following:

  • Connection: Overall quality of your link to the internet, based on speed and stability
  • Latency: How quickly data travels between your device and a server (lower is better)
  • Packet Loss: The percentage of data packets that don’t reach their destination (0% is ideal)

Poor or No Internet Connection

Your device must be connected to the internet via a wifi or hard-wired connection in order to log in and launch and use most apps and websites in Venn's Blue Border.

If you do not have a good local network connection, try to optimize how you’re connecting to the internet or reach out to your Internet Service Provider for support. The following may help:

  • Try a different wifi or network
  • Move closer to the router
  • Use a wired or ethernet connection
  • Upgrade your modem or router
  • Reduce the number of devices connected to your wifi network
  • Disable background applications and processes that might be using bandwidth on your computer

If your local connection is good, but your Private Company Gateway connection is not, reach out to support for help.
