Venn's Blue Border has three user roles:
- Company Manager: Users that have full access to the Venn Admin Portal and can manage user access and security settings for their organization
- Read Only Company Manager: Users that have access to view and export information in the Venn Admin Portal, but cannot make changes to user access or security settings

Standard: Default user type with end-user access to the Venn desktop app and web app

By default, all user accounts are created with the standard user type.
To change a user's role:
- Navigate to the Admin Portal.
- In your browser, go to https://login.venn.com/ and sign in if prompted. Then, click Open Admin Portal.
- From the desktop app, click the
Open web app icon. Then, click Company Admin in the top right.
- Click Manage users.
- Click on the user's name.
- Click Security options.
- Click Edit at the bottom of the page.
- Check or uncheck the following settings depending on the role you want the user to have:
- Company Manager: Check the box next to Company manager and uncheck the box next to Read Only Access
- Read Only Company Manager: Check the box next to Company manager and check the box next to Read Only Access
- Standard User: Uncheck the box next to Company manager and uncheck the box next to Read Only Access
- Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
