Enable or Disable "Forgot Password"
As a Company Manager, you can allow users to reset their Venn passwords themselves using the mobile number associated with their Venn user account or you can require that users request a password reset from a Company Manager. This permission only applies if Venn is your Identity Provider.
If you enable "forgot password," make sure that your users have mobile phone numbers associated with their accounts under Security options on the User Record. Learn how to edit user information in Venn.
If you disable "forgot password," we recommend instructing users to reach out to your support team directly to request that their password be reset rather than reaching out to Venn Support. As a security best practice, Venn requires approval from a Company Manager in order to reset passwords.

- Navigate to the Company Settings page following the steps above.
- Click Security options.
- Click Edit at the bottom of the page.
- Check the Allow forgot password checkbox to enable users to reset passwords themselves. Uncheck the Allow forgot password checkbox to require that users reach out to your support team to reset their passwords.
