Browser Uploads Data Loss Prevention Policy

To enhance data protection in your organization, admins can restrict file uploads in browsers running in the Secure Enclave for Windows users. This feature offers flexibility by enabling exceptions for specific domains. This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to manage these restrictions.

This feature is currently only available on Windows PCs.

Modifying the Browser Upload Policy

To modify the browser upload policy:

  1. From the DLP Policy admin page locate Browser uploads.

  3. Within the policy editor you have the option to select either Unrestricted or Restricted:

    • Unrestricted: This option allows file uploads on any domain.

    • Restricted: This option restricts file uploads. When this is set, an additional option appears to add domain exclusions.

  4. If you've set the policy to Restricted, you can add exceptions:

    • Enter the domain in the format "domain.com" and press the Enter key. You can enter multiple domains this way. These domains will be exempted from the upload restriction.
