What Happened Today: Venn’s Response to the AWS Outage - Oct 20, 2025

As of 4:40 PM ET, all systems have been fully restored and services are operating normally.

Beginning around 4:00 AM ET, Amazon reported a widespread AWS outage that lasted much of the day and affected numerous major companies and cloud-based services across the country.

Venn Workplace is powered by AWS infrastructure, known for its premium performance and reliability. Throughout the day, Venn engineers worked tirelessly to minimize the impact of the outage and ensure that services were restored as quickly as AWS’s recovery efforts allowed. We’re pleased to confirm there was no impact to the security or integrity of client data.

We want to extend our sincere thanks to all our clients for your patience and understanding throughout today’s challenging event. Your cooperation allowed our team to focus fully on restoring service as quickly and safely as possible.
