Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 will reach the end of support on October 14, 2025, meaning that feature and security updates will no longer be made to Windows 10 after that date. If your organization or individual users would like to extend the use of Windows 10 devices past Microsoft's end of support date, Microsoft recommends participating in their Extended Security Updates (ESU) program for Windows 10 to do so in a more secure manner.
Venn fully supports Windows 10 today and will continue to support it until at least October 2027 to support our users who will continue to work on Windows 10 devices. Visit our System and Software Requirements for an up-to-date list of Venn's supported Operating Systems.
Use these resources to help in your planning for Microsoft's Windows 10 End-of-Support:
- Use the Export data option on the All Devices page in the Admin Portal to export a .csv file that includes your users' Device Operating System Version. This file will make it easy for you to identify users who are logging in to Venn on devices running Windows 10. Visit this article to learn how.
- Once identified, work with users that have computers that are currently running Windows 10 to use Windows’ built-in tool to determine if their devices are compatible with Windows 11: Windows Health Tool.
- If your organization or individual users would like to extend the use of Windows 10 devices past Microsoft's end of support date, Microsoft recommends participating in their Extended Security Updates (ESU) program for Windows 10 to do so in a more secure manner.
