Set up Mail, Contacts, and Calendars on a Mac

This Feature May Not Be Enabled Based on Your Organization's Access Policy.
Organizations That Wish to Access This Feature Can Contact Their Customer Success Manager or Workplace Provider.

Set up Your Account in Outlook for Mac

  1. Launch Outlook from Workplace for macOS.
    Remember to install and activate Office on your computer.
  2. Enter your Workplace Email address and click Continue.
    Outlook might populate the email automatically.
  3. Enter your Workplace password and click Sign in.
    You may be required to verify the sign-in by completing the multi-factor authentication on your mobile device.

  4. Click Done to launch your account in Outlook.

Set up Your Account in Apple Mail, Contacts, and Calendar

Apple Mail and Calendar are not supported in LocalZone™. We recommend using Outlook for LocalZone™ users. 
  1. Launch System Preferences.
  2. Click Internet Accounts.

  3. Click Exchange.

  4. Enter your name and Email address and click Sign In.

  5. Click Sign In.

  6. Enter your Workplace password and click Sign in.
    You may be required to verify the sign-in by completing the multi-factor authentication on your mobile device.

  7. Click Accept.

  8. Select the applications to use with your account and click Done.

Set up Your Account in a Third-Party Application

The Third-Party Application MUST support Microsoft Exchange as an account type.
Third-Party applications are not supported in LocalZone™. We recommend using Outlook for LocalZone™ users.

Note: The steps below are for a generic setup flow and might vary depending on your device.

  1. Launch the application and navigate to account settings
  2. Begin the Add Account setup.
  3. Select Exchange for the account type.
  4. Enter your Workplace Email address.
  5. Enter your Workplace password.
  6. The application should attempt to automatically setup your settings. 
    • If the application is unable to automatically setup your account, you maybe be asked to enter the ServerUsername, and Domain for your account. Contact support if you don't have this information.
