Saving Bookmarks and Accounts

At Venn, we take security very seriously. Many of our clients work with sensitive and regulated information and rely on us to keep their data secure. The Websites feature is designed to let you use secure passwords and sign you in with one click once you’re inside the secure perimeter of Workplace. 

Learn how to save a Bookmark (a Website without an attached username and password) and an Account (a Website with an attached username and password):

Saving a Bookmark with the Workplace Web App

1. Navigate to login.venn.com and sign in with valid credentials.
   You may be required to verify the sign in by completing the multifactor authentication on your mobile device.
2. Click Websites in the left side panel.
3. Enter a name for the website and the Website Address / URL.
4. Select a preferred browser to open the website in.
5. Click Save.

Saving a Bookmark with the Workplace Extension

Workplace Will Automatically Select the Preferred Browser Based on the Browser Used to Save the Website. 
For example, if you save a website using Hosted Chrome, it will only be able to open in Hosted Chrome.

Have you found an article or work resource online that you want to save and share with your co-workers? 

To save and share a website:

1. Open a browser and navigate to a website.
2. Click the Workplace extension at the top of the page.
3. Click Bookmark this page.
   
   
   

The account will be saved to Workplace under the Websites section.

Saving an Account with the Workplace Extension

Workplace Will Automatically Select the Preferred Browser Based on the Browser Used to Save the Website. 
For example, if you save a website using Hosted Chrome, it will only be able to open in Hosted Chrome.

1. Open a browser and navigate to a website.
2. Log in to the website with your credentials.
   Workplace will recognize you have entered a username and password.
3. Click Save account.
   

The account will be saved to Workplace under the Websites section.
