Release Highlight July 13, 2026: New Work Password Storage Setup Prompt on macOS 26.6

Available Now The new work password storage setup prompt in Blue Border was released on July 13, 2026. This prompt appears for users on macOS 26.6, which Apple released on July 28, 2026.

Due to a change in how macOS 26.6 handles the keychain, where sign-in credentials are stored on the device, users who update to 26.6 will be prompted to set up work password storage in Blue Border.

What's New

If you're on a Mac computer running macOS 26.6 or later, the Blue Border permissions guide now includes a new step that sets up secure storage for your work passwords. You'll be asked to enter your Mac password so Venn can complete this setup.

Venn does not store this password or access your personal passwords. It's used only to set up secure storage for your work passwords.
