Restrict Access to Microsoft 365 Apps Outside of Venn’s Blue Border

Microsoft Entra ID’s Conditional Access feature can be used to restrict access to Microsoft 365 applications. Learn how to use Microsoft Entra ID to restrict access to apps.

You can also configure the Account Access Data Loss Prevention Policy in Venn that restricts which business domain(s) users can log in to Microsoft 365 with inside Blue Border. This ensures that your Venn users cannot log in to personal or other business accounts in Blue Border.

In order to use the Microsoft Conditional Access feature to restrict access to Microsoft 365 applications, you must have one of the following:

  • Microsoft Entra ID P1 or P2 and Microsoft 365 business licenses (e.g., Business Standard, E3, E5, or Business Premium)
  • Microsoft 365 Business Premium licenses (includes Entra ID P1)
  • M365 E3 licenses (includes Entra ID P1)
  • M365 E5 licenses (includes Entra ID P2)

Microsoft Entra ID Free, Microsoft 365 Apps for Business, and Microsoft 365 Business Basic/Standard do not include Conditional Access.
