You can use a third-party remote management tool such as Microsoft Intune to silently install Venn's Workplace app for Windows.
To configure your remote management tool to silently install Workplace for Windows:
- Click this link to download the Workplace Silent Installer: Workplace Silent Installer.
- This downloads a standalone executable (WorkplaceWebInstaller.exe).
- The silent installer is located here: https://downloads.os33portal.net/clients/windows/WorkplaceWebInstaller.exe?silent=true&skipCitrixInstall=true&skipBrowserExtensionInstall=true. The parameters at the end of the URL (
silent=true,skipCitrixInstall=true, andskipBrowserExtensionInstall=true) are essential and should not be removed.

Save the file in a secure location on your management server or a cloud-hosted repository accessible by your remote management tool.
- Configure your remote management tool to run the following command with administrator permissions on the targeted machines:
WorkplaceWebInstaller.exe /install /quiet /noreboot.
The installation process typically takes 3-5 minutes. During the process, Workplace and all required components will be downloaded and installed automatically. The installer will also automatically add the Workplace app to all users' startup items.
Once it has been installed on their device, the Workplace Update service will keep the application up to date for users automatically.
We recommend that you click the link in step 1 above to re-download the installer every 3 months. Even though the application automatically updates once installed, keeping the installer fresh ensures that new users will not have a very outdated version of the Workplace app installed.
