Leaving hosted apps (Citrix) running for an extended period of time may slow them down and could cause other issues.
If you feel like the Hosted Apps are running inefficiently, a restart can help.
To Restart Hosted Apps in Workplace Desktop
- Open Workplace Desktop and sign in with valid credentials.
You may be required to verify the sign-in by completing the multi-factor authentication on your mobile device. - Click the Help icon in the navigation bar.
- Click Quit Hosted Apps.
You may be asked to confirm if you want to quit your hosted apps.
- Click Hosted Apps and click on the application(s) to launch and start them again.
To Restart Hosted Apps in the Workplace Web App
- Navigate to login.venn.com and sign in with valid credentials.
You may be required to verify the sign-in by completing the multi-factor authentication on your mobile device. - When you have a Hosted App running, you will see the Hosted App icon in the top navigation bar. Click the Hosted App icon.
- Click Troubleshoot apps.
- Click Shutdown apps.
All of your Hosted Apps are now shut down.
- Click Hosted Apps and click on the application(s) to launch and start them again.
