June 24, 2026 Enhancements: Redesigned desktop app, web app sign-in, and update notifications

From the first sign-in to everyday use, we've polished the Workplace experience.

First, Workplace has a new look: the redesigned desktop app has a cleaner layout and a fresh, modern feel. Everything's a little easier to find: key controls are grouped in the top right, labels are clearer, and a new logo and app border make the app instantly recognizable as your workspace. The redesigned Workplace app was released to all users on a rolling basis between May 27 and June 24, 2026.

The web sign-in and download pages got the same treatment on June 24, 2026. New users land on a polished, consistent experience with a built-in FAQ, so they get set up with fewer questions to your team. 

We also introduced update notifications on June 24, 2026. When an update is available for the Workplace app, users will see a prompt to Update now or Update later, so they can stay current on their own schedule.
