PC Operating System

Frontline supports the following PC Operating Systems:

  • Windows 10: Microsoft has implemented 18-month service cycles for Home and Pro editions
    • Version 22H2 (Microsoft support will end on October 14, 2025)
  • Windows 11: Microsoft has implemented 24-month service cycles for Home and Pro editions
    • Version 22H2 (Microsoft support will end on October 8, 2024)
    • Version 23H2
    • Version 24H2

Not supported: 
All Windows Versions earlier that Windows 10 Version 22H2
Windows Embedded and other specialized Windows operating systems

In addition, the following software must be installed and healthy:

  • Powershell 5.1 or above
  • .NetFramework version 4.5.2 or 4.7.2

  • BitLocker Drive Encryption (Microsoft's solution available Windows 10 Pro, and Windows 11 Pro editions)
  • ESET Endpoint Encryption (previously known as DESlock+)
  • Sophos Safeguard
  • Symantec Encryption Desktop (previously known as PGP Desktop)
  • Winmagic SecureDoc

Frontline supports the following firewall products for Windows:

  • Windows Defender (native solution)

Apple Operating System (macOS)

Frontline supports the following versions of macOS:

  • Monterey (12.x, Apple support will end November 2024)
  • Ventura (13.x, Apple support will end November 2025)
  • Sonoma (14.x)
  • Sequoia (15.x)
Apple traditionally supports the 3 latest versions of their operating system.
Not supported:
Any version earlier than Monterey

macOS Web Browsers

Frontline supports the most recent available builds of the following browsers on macOS:

  • Safari
  • Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based)

macOS Antivirus Products

Frontline supports the following antivirus products for macOS:

There is no native antivirus solution in macOS. 
Gatekeeper is not an antivirus solution.

Unsupported platforms and operating systems

The following platforms and operating systems are not supported:
  • Mobile platforms: iOS, Android, Windows Phone
  • Operating systems: Windows versions earlier than 10 build 22H2, MacOS versions early than Monterey, ChromeOS, Linux/Unix
  • Windows Devices with ARM processors (e.g. Microsoft Surface Pro X)
  • Any browser not listed above
