Once you have set up Venn's MDM software for iOS, you must renew your MDM certificate and token every year.

Step 1: Renew Your MDM Certificate

To renew your MDM certificate:

1. Navigate to the Admin Portal.
   1. In your browser, go to https://login.venn.com/ and sign in if prompted. Then, click Open Admin Portal.
   2. From the desktop app, click the Open web app icon. Then, click Company Admin in the top right.

2. Click Settings in the menu at left and select MDM.

   

3. In the iOS push certification configuration section under iOS MDM enrollment, click Renew certificate. This will download a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) file.

   

4. In a new browser tab, navigate to https://identity.apple.com/pushcert/ and sign in with the Apple ID and password you used when you created the certificate.
5. Locate the Workplace certificate you want to renew, and click Renew.
6. Click Choose File and upload the CSR file you downloaded from Venn in step 4 above.
7. Download the the signed certificate (.pem) file from Apple. Download this file only once.

8. Return to Venn and click Upload MDM Push certificate.

   

9. Enter the Apple ID used to generate the push certificate and upload the downloaded push certificate from Apple. Click Done.

10. The MDM enrollment modal will update and reflect the new connected status.

    

Step 2: Renew Your Organization's VPP Token

To renew your VPP Token:

1. Navigate to the Admin Portal.
   1. In your browser, go to https://login.venn.com/ and sign in if prompted. Then, click Open Admin Portal.
   2. From the desktop app, click the Open web app icon. Then, click Company Admin in the top right.

2. Click Settings in the menu at left and select MDM.

   

3. In the VPP Token section under iOS MDM enrollment, click Renew Token.

   

4. Enter the Apple ID used for Apple Business and upload the downloaded VPP Token.  Click Done.

5. The MDM enrollment modal will update and reflect the new connected status.
