Announcement June 9, 2026: macOS 26.6 Keychain Issue

Status: Active — Last updated 9:30 AM ET on June 9, 2026

We've identified a compatibility issue between Blue Border and macOS 26.6, caused by a change in how the operating system handles the keychain, where sign-in credentials are stored on the device.

What users are experiencing: On macOS 26.6, users may experience the following behavior:

  • Users may be signed out of locally-authenticated apps (including their Apple ID) and have to sign back in.
  • Users may be required to log back into all of their Blue Border apps any time they are launched.

What to know: We're actively working on fixes for both issues. This version of macOS has not been released yet, so this behavior would only currently impact users on the macOS 26.6 beta. Anyone who hasn't updated to macOS 26.6 may wish to wait until the fixes have been deployed to do so.

We will post updates here as our resolution progresses.
